Lucky (Bubba). A Grandpa with an Attitude.

Meet Lucky, also known as Bubba, a 14-year-old Golden Retriever mix who has stolen our hearts. Rescued by Tamsine, one of our amazing volunteers from England, Lucky was found in Sintra chained, starving, and riddled with parasites. Despite his terrible condition, there was a spark in his eyes that Tamsine couldn’t ignore. She brought him to us, and since then, he’s made a miraculous recovery.

Lucky is now a happy boy who adores human affection, tasty meals, and leisurely strolls. At his age, he’s deaf and tires easily, so short walks and a cozy, quiet life suit him best. His dream home would have a comfy bed, a garden to wander in, and someone who’s home often to shower him with love. He’s the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet, and we love him dearly.
