Meet Speedy – the little rocket. A small dog with a heart of gold and a coat to match! This charming one-year-old mix-breed has an irresistibly cute face and a gentle, affectionate personality. Born in a small Portuguese village, she endured a difficult start, facing poor treatment in her first home. Thankfully, her life changed when the son of the family brought her to us, giving her a chance to experience the love and kindness she so deeply deserves.
Since arriving at our sanctuary, Speedy has made an inspiring recovery. Her love for life is contagious, and although she’s still a little shy around new people, she only needs a bit of patience to fully open up. One of our volunteers, describes her perfectly: “Speedy is a gentle, friendly, and incredibly affectionate dog. She’s a pleasure to be with, and her spirit lights up our sanctuary.”
With boundless energy, Speedy adores running and playing with other dogs. She’s wonderful with children and gets along well with cats, too, making her an ideal match for a family or a multi-pet household. Despite her challenging past, she’s full of love and eager to share it with the right family.
