🐾 Meet Zora – A Sweet Girl Ready for her Family 🐾
Sweet Zora, a less than a year old Alentejano mix, has already survived more than most dogs will in a lifetime. She was born into a tragic cycle—in the past, every litter her mother had was taken away and killed. But this time, her mother did something extraordinary—she hid her puppies, trying to keep them safe.
When we found out about their fate, we knew we had to help. With time and patience, we convinced the owners to let us take the last litter and, most importantly, to have their mother neutered, so no more puppies would suffer. Now, Zora is safe at Terra Canis Dog Sanctuary, where she’s learning that humans can be kind, that love is real, and that her future will be bright.
Zora is a gentle, shy girl, but beneath her cautious heart is a pup who wants to love and be loved. Every day, she takes small, brave steps—learning to walk on a leash, trust a kind hand, and believe in the warmth of a caring home. With time and patience, we know she will blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she was always meant to be.
Now, all she needs is a forever home—a family who will continue showing her kindness and patience, who will let her grow at her own pace and discover the joy of being truly loved.
